Vocational College of Universitas Diponegoro officially established a partnership with PT Hino Motors Manufacturing Indonesia (HMMI). The Dean of Vocational College, Prof. Ir Budiyono, M.Si., and the Director of PT HMMI, Harianto, signed the cooperation document at the Dean’s Building on Friday, September 6, 2024.

This cooperation was initiated by the Head of Applied Foreign Language Study Program, Sriwahyu Istana Trahutami, M.Hum., through intensive communication so that Applied Foreign Language students can do internships at the company. The partnership is to implement the “link and match” between the higher education and industry. Please note that PT HMMI has a parent company in Japan. This shows the similarity with the distinctiveness of the study program, one of which focuses on Japanese language learning.

The Dean of Vocational College hopes that internship activities can be extended to all study programs in Vocational College. Some of them include the study programs of Mechanical Design Engineering, Industrial Electrical Technology, Automation Engineering, Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology, Logistics Management and Administration, and Information and Culture. The heads of study programs in Vocational College also attended the signing ceremony.

PT HMMI is one of the leading companies that manufacture commercial motorized vehicles such as trucks and buses. The company, which was established in 1982, has a factory location in Bukit Indah, Purwakarta.
