[Banyuanyar, August 16, 2024] – Omah Oveje MSME, a pioneer of ginger innovation from Dukuh Wangan, Banyuanyar Village, Ampel Subdistrict, Boyolali Regency, has just received assistance in the form of a bilingual leaflet specially made to help market this MSME to the international market. This initiative is part of the mono-disciplinary work program of Indah Farah Octania, a member of Team II of Diponegoro University’s Community Service Program (KKN), which aims to introduce Banyuanyar Village’s unique products abroad.
Omah Oveje, which stands for Omah Varian Ginger, is known for its quality and innovative ginger products. From ginger powder to ginger pineapple tarts, Omah Oveje offers quality products for ginger lovers. To disseminate this information, Indah Farah Octania or often called “Ifo” has compiled a bilingual leaflet that presents information in Indonesian and English.
The leaflet-making process began with the collection of detailed material about Omah Oveje’s flagship products. Ifo worked closely with Mr. Widodo, a member of the Sumber Agung Satu Farmer Group, which manages Omah Oveje, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information. This activity aims to ensure that every product detail, benefit and contact information is presented clearly and attractively.
“This leaflet is an important step towards bringing our products to the international stage,” says Mr. Widodo. “With this bilingual leaflet, we hope to attract the attention of the global market and introduce the uniqueness of our products to consumers abroad.”
The leaflet design is simple and up-to-date with ginger and green colors that reflect Omah Oveje’s identity. An attractive layout and structured language are also used to capture the reader’s attention. The concise descriptions of product benefits and easily accessible contact information hint that the leaflet is designed to ensure that every reader can easily get the full picture of what Omah Oveje has to offer.
Through the launch of this bilingual leaflet, Omah Oveje is expected to reach a wider range of potential customers and attract the attention of potential domestic business partners. The leaflet not only introduces Omah Oveje’s quality products, but also provides a significant boost to the growth of the MSME.
“We sincerely hope that this leaflet will be the bridge that connects us with enthusiastic international customers” added Mr. Widodo. Omah Oveje and Ifo hope that this leaflet will pave the way for further development of this locally-based business.
