It is no stranger to the UNDIP Vocational School Applied Foreign Language Study Program to hear the words Chikushi Jogakuen University. The reason is, it often collaborates for student exchanges and guest lecture activities.

On February 19-24, 2024, four students from Chikushi Jogakuen University traveled to Indonesia to carry out volunteer activities initiated by Dejavato. Kubota Aoi, Nishi Ayami, Kamachi Rinoa, and Terase Miku were the four Chikushi Jogakuen students who visited Indonesia to exchange information about Japanese-Indonesian education and culture. A similar agenda was also carried out by two students of the Applied Foreign Language Study Program in 2023. They traveled to Japan to carry out the Summer Program of Early Childhood Education and Japanese Culture.

Their visit to Indonesia was warmly welcomed by the students of Applied Foreign Language Study Program. This activity is very useful for Basing students, especially Japanese concentration, to hone their Japanese language skills and cultural knowledge that they get during lectures. They visited the tourist village of Nangka Sawit Gunung Pati which is the place of P2MD HIMA Basing activities. Not only that, they were also introduced to Indonesian culture such as trying on traditional clothes, traditional games, and trying to eat Indonesian food.
