The Applied Foreign Language Association (AFL SA) completed a community empowerment program in Nongkosawit Village through P2MD. The closing of this program was carried out with several activities in the Omah Pang courtyard, Nongkosawit Village on Tuesday, 19 December 2023.

This closing activity was carried out with thanksgiving with AFL SA members and the management of Nongkosawit Tourism Village. In this event, a promotional video of the tourism village made by the P2MD Team was played. This promotional video highlights the advantages of this tourist village, including Omah Pang, activities of making traditional snacks, and making souvenirs using jenitri seeds. This promotional video is intended to help increase public visits to the Nongkosawit Tourism Village. Apart from that, this is one of the outputs produced by HM BAT from P2MD activities.

In addition to the promotional video, the P2MD activities carried out by the HM BAT team produced several other outcomes. Some of them are SOP Tour guiding, Instagram content calendar, tourist village profile posters, tourist village information boards, road directions, and a tourist village plan. The media and infrastructure were created in collaboration with the residents of the tourist village and in accordance with the needs of the tourist village. It is hoped that these outcomes can help improve the performance of tourist village managers and support the  tourist villages so they can attract more visitors.

P2MD activities are a program from the Directorate General of Vocational Education (Ditjen Diksi) which provides opportunities for students through intra-campus student organizations to contribute to the welfare of village communities. In this activity, the student organization team will collaborate with local village residents to improve village welfare. The AFL SA team is among the selected student organizations in P2MD activities funded by the Ditjen Diksi, Kemenrisktekdikbud in 2023.
