Applied Foreign Language student, Saxsafhira Dhea Octaviana won 2 titles at once in the Vocational Idol singing competition. This Frand Final was held on the 4th floor of the Undip Vocational School Dean Building, Tembalang on Thursday, 19 October 2023.
Saxsafhira received the title of third place and the favorite winner of Vocational Idol. The title of third place was obtained from the judges’ assessment. Meanwhile, the favorite champion is a title obtained from the number of votes via “likes” received on the Instagram post on the Vocational School Instagram account. She got the highest number of likes, i.e. 1,952 likes in 2 days. The vote ended on Friday, October 20, 2023.
During the competition, Saxsa sang a song entitled “Dear Dream” which was popularized by Lyodra. Wearing a white dress, Saxsa impressed the judges in the 2023 Vocational Idol Grand Final. The winner was announced on Saturday, 21 October 2023, to coincide with the peak of the 7th Anniversary of the Vocational College, Undip.
The Vocational Idol Competition is one of a series of competitions held to celebrate the 7th Anniversary of the Vocational College, Undip. Through these competitions, the Vocational College wants to explore the talents at the the Vocational School. Apart from that, the activities during the Anniversary was expected to strengthen harmony among the members of the Vocational College.
