Pati, 25 July 2023 – Students from Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) conducting community service activities launched an innovative initiative to increase reading interest in G7 students at MTs Matholi’ul Huda, Suwatu Village through the introduction of the iPusnas application, a digital library that facilitates easy access to various reading materials. This activity aims to utilize technology to stimulate interest in reading and open opportunities for wider access to literature.
In the ever-growing digital era, the presence of digital libraries is becoming increasingly important in facilitating the learning process and opening the door to increasing interest in reading. The iPusnas (National Digital Library) application introduced by the student volunteers provides easy and fast access to collections of digital books, articles, journals and other learning resources from the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia.
The iPusnas application offers a variety of features that support an interactive and interesting learning experience. Users can easily explore different book categories, perform custom searches, and bookmark and save their favorite books or articles to read later. This gives students flexibility in arranging their reading time according to daily activities. Through this innovative step, it is hoped that positive changes will be created in local education, and iPusnas can continue to be a valuable tool in inspiring and increasing students’ interest in reading at MTs Matholi’ul Huda, Suwatu Village.
