What IISMAVO?
IISMAVO stands for Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards Edisi Vokasi. The Head of IISMAVO explained that this program is a big step for Indonesian vocational college students to experience quality overseas education in addition gaining first-hand experience in relevant industries. The scholarship covers fees for registration, tuition, airfare, visa, settlement, living allowance, accommodation, health insurance, and emergency fund.
Audrey has joined the other 409 awardees as the first cohort of IISMAVO scholarship recipients. This year, there are 3,540 applicants across the country. It is expected that there would be more students to apply for this program in the following years.
What is Spring Exchange Program at Kangwon University?
This program is a partnership program between Kangwon National University and its sister university across the globe, one of which is Universitas Diponegoro. This program is held every year and is open to all students from the sister university.
Nida is the only awardee from Vocational College of Universitas Diponegoro to experience the study at Kangwon University.
We hope that Audrey and Nida’s achievement can inspire their fellow students to experience overseas education. Studying abroad is not only a matter of experiencing a different style of education, but also to enhance students’ intercultural communication and people-to-people connection among nations. Universitas Diponegoro has supported its students to experience international outbound mobility programs through various programs. Students can also find relevant information from the IO in their respective faculties.
