Representatives from the Department of Information and Culture, Vocational College of Universitas Diponegoro  visited Songkhla Campus, Thaksin University, Thailand on November 28, 2024. This visit aims to explore the potential “tridharma” cooperation with the university.

The discussion with Thaksin University was attended by Dr. Pittayatorn Kaewkong, Dean of the International College who was accompanied by a team of lecturers from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The discussion began with introducing each university through the screening of profile videos. In the discussion session, representatives from both universities offered potential cooperation in the field of student exchange and teaching collaboration.

This potential cooperation can strengthen the relationship between universities. Furthermore, this cooperation can encourage international relations, especially for Indonesian and Thai students. Student exchange activities are expected to increase international exposure for students at both universities. Hopefully, this activity can support graduates from both universities to gain wider global perspectives.

Thaksin University is one of the largest private universities in Southern Thailand. The university has 14 faculties spread across 2 campuses. The university offers diversity in its environment, with Muslim students making up 20% of the student body.
