SV Undip – Hotel Marumine Kanko officially opened registration for its Internship Program for Indonesian students in 2024, including Diponegoro University. This initiative aims to provide real-world work experience designed to develop technical skills and experience the Japanese hospitality industry, renowned for its high service standards and professionalism. Furthermore, students participating in the program can directly engage in the field by practicing the Japanese language skills they have learned during their studies.
Inas Latifah, a student majoring in Applied Foreign Languages, was selected after a series of selection processes, including CV screening, interviews, and assessments of motivation and work readiness. She was placed in the housekeeping department, working alongside hotel staff and other interns. The one-year program is a collaboration between Diponegoro University and PT. JIPA.

In addition to gaining work experience, Inas Latifah also had the opportunity to learn firsthand about Japanese culture and local life in Fukushima. This area is known for its natural beauty and friendly people, providing a supportive environment for international interns to adapt.
The participation of Diponegoro University students in this program is expected to inspire other students to boldly seize international opportunities and develop their potential on a global scale.
