The Social Affairs Unit of the Applied Foreign Languages Students’ Association organized a community service program titled “Studyeay” on Friday and Saturday, May 23-24, 2025. Led by Laila Nursyarofa Ramadhani and Hawani Br Ginting Studyeay is a program based on SDG Goal 4, which focuses on quality education. The program focuses on teaching foreign languages to children in Kalisidi Village, Ungaran Barat Sub-district, Semarang Regency.

This year, Studyeay is themed “One Action. A Hundred Inspirations, Through Fun Education.” The teaching is targeted at third and fourth-grade students in Kalisidi Village. The foreign language instruction, which includes Japanese and English, focuses on interactive basic learning to encourage children’s motivation and active participation in the learning sessions.

On the first day, interactive Japanese and English language lessons were conducted, divided into two alternating sessions. The children were encouraged to learn basic vocabulary related to daily life, interspersed with interactive games. On the second day, we conducted a review of the material covered on the previous day. The review was presented in the form of games and interactions between the children and the teachers.

The two-day program provided the children of Kalisidi Village with valuable knowledge of foreign languages. It is hoped that through this program, the children will be motivated to further develop their language skills, which will serve as a valuable asset in achieving their future aspirations.
