Workshop on the Development of Teaching Materials for Japanese Language Courses in Vocational Schools

Tuesday, January 30, 2024, the Applied Foreign Language Study Program held a Visiting Professor activity which was packaged in the form of Teaching Material Development Training for Vocational Japanese Lectures, with speakers from The Japan Foundation, Mrs. Kadoi Minako. In this training, a new textbook suitable for vocational courses was introduced. The textbook Irodori: Seikatsuno Nihongo is appropriate for practicing Japanese communication necessary for foreigners who will live and work in Japan.

The training for lecturers introduced the materials in Irodori, how to use them, as well as how to teach them in order to get effective results in learning. Irodori teaching materials are very suitable if applied in Japanese language learning in Vocational School, considering the number of students who have internship activities in the Japanese industrial world.
