A proud achievement was made by the lecturer of the Applied Foreign Language Study Program at the UNDIP Vocational School, Fitri Alfarisy, who succeeded in getting an award as a young lecturer with the highest 3-year SINTA score in the social humanities field, ranked 2nd, which was handed over directly by the Rector of UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, SH M.Hum in the Prof. Soedarto, SH Building at the Mother’s Day Ceremony last December 22.

Success in publishing an accredited journal is a proud achievement. An accredited journal is a journal that has been recognized and given a ranking by a journal indexing agency. One of them is the Science and Technology Index or often known as SINTA which is managed by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. SINTA is a portal that contains accredited scientific journals with different ranking groups for each journal. The ranking provided starts from SINTA 6 which is the lowest rank to SINTA 1 which is the highest rank. The higher the ranking, the more difficult it will be to publish scientific articles in that journal.

Fitri Alfarisy, S.Pd., M.Hum is a lecturer in the Applied Foreign Language Study Program at the UNDIP Vocational School who has the obligation of the Tridharma of Higher Education to provide education, research and community service. Apart from providing education for students, he is also active in publishing research and service journals. The various journals he has published can be viewed via the Google Scholar page.

The young lecturer award with the highest SINTA score is given for performance contributions and dedication to the academic community who are outstanding as a form of appreciation for achievements in the world of science. The hope is that the awarding of the certificate will encourage the entire academic community to bring the big name of UNDIP and the Vocational School to the national and international level.
